MA in the Ethics of Cancer and Palliative Care
Who is it for
This flexible part-time course is designed for Doctors, Nurses and Allied Health Professionals seeking to examine the complex ethical arguments and legal problems that exist in cancer and palliative care practice today, enhancing their ability to think systematically about the moral issues involved. The course engages both the philosophical and practice based difficulties encountered in this challenging area.
About the course
Year one consists of four modules, delivered in short intensive 3 day teaching blocks by the Marie Curie Palliative Care Institute at the Marie Curie Hospice, Liverpool. This innovative structure proves particularly popular with health care professionals in full time employment as it allows students to combine study with full time work and other commitments. It also enables students who are based all over the UK and even the world, to attend.
