MSc Medical Science (Palliative Care)
About the course
Two modules are offered within the MSc in Medical Science course:
- MDSC 160 Advanced Practice in Palliative Care
- MDSC 161 Advanced Practice in End of Life Care
Each 20 credit module uses a blended learning approach with taught sessions at the Marie Curie Hospice, Liverpool.
The modules use a range of teaching and learning approaches. There are a series of workshops that will be delivered using a variety of methods: formal presentation, group discussion and group activities. In addition, these modules use e-learning to enhance the learning and teaching afforded by the workshops. This use of blended learning enriches the quality of student learning through interactive learning activities beyond those attainable through face to face classroom interactions.
