Modules
The following modules can be attended standalone or can be used towards Edge Hill University's:
- Dip HE Health and Social Practice (Diploma level 5)
- BSc (Hons) Health and Social Care Practice (Degree level 6, optional modules or Adult Palliative Care pathway)
They can also be undertaken generally as:
- Postgraduate Certificate of Professional Development
- Associate student (attendance certificate only, no credits)
Benefits of the modules
The modules are delivered using a flexible, blended approach to learning, which combines both face to face teaching, use of expert speakers, supported self directed learning and online learning activities. The aim is to create a positive, supportive environment in which to learn and one which allows you to combine a busy work / life schedule with the opportunity to study. You will be able to access individual support throughout the module from the lecturers at the Institute. In addition to this, you can access specific IT skills training via Edge Hill University to help support learning using online activities.
Where the modules are held
The modules are co-ordinated and facilitated at the Marie Curie Palliative Care Institute c/o Marie Curie Hospice in Woolton, Liverpool and are part of the Edge Hill University's Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Health and Social Care Programme.
