General Information

Unless stated all of the courses/study days mentioned are held at the Marie Curie Palliative Care Institute Liverpool based at the Marie Curie Hospice Liverpool (Speke Road, Woolton, Liverpool, L25 8QA)

 

Course fees

Workshops and study days include lunch, refreshments and course materials. All participants will be issued with a certificate of attendance.

 

Cancellations

Cancellations up to four weeks prior to the event incur a £10 administration charge. Thereafter no refunds will be made, but named substitutes will be accepted.

 

Data Protection Act

Details will be treated as confidential information in accordance with the data protection Act 1998 and will be stored for use by the Marie Curie Palliative Care Institute only.

 

Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

CPD approval is being sought for all appropriate study days/conference

 

Accommodation

Information on residential accommodation in the area can be obtained on request.

 

Directions

Information will be sent with final course details, or earlier on request.

 

Parking

Parking within the hospice grounds is not available to delegates. Parking is available locally in the streets surrounding the hospice.

 

Library

The library contains an extensive number of books, journals and video tapes relating to cancer and palliative care. Students undertaking validated courses at the hospice receive library membership; others carrying out studies related to cancer and palliative care are welcome to make an appointment to use the library on a reference only basis.
