The following modules can be accessed through the Learning and Teaching team at the Institute:

• Key Principles of Adult Palliative Care (HEA 2039 / 3031)

• Psychosocial Adult Palliative Care (HEA 2040 / 3032)

These modules can be accessed at both Diploma and Degree level and include joint learning.  HEA 3031 Key Principles of Adult Palliative Care, (Degree Level 6) is available through the PQF programme

• The Principles of Effective Pain Management in Adults (HEA 3036)

You can undertake the individual modules in one of the following ways:

• Stand alone course (single module)
• Or as part of the:
• Dip HE Health and Social Practice (Diploma level 5)
• BSc (Hons) Health and Social Care Practice (Degree level 6 optional modules)
• BSc (Hons) Health and Social Care Practice - Adult Palliative Care
• Post graduate certificate of Professional Development
• Associate Student (attendance certificate only, no credits)

The modules are delivered using a flexible, blended approach to learning, which combines both face to face teaching, use of expert speakers, supported self directed learning and on line learning activities. The aim is to create a positive, supportive environment in which to learn and one which allows you to combine a busy work / life schedule with the opportunity to study. You will be able to access Individual support throughout the module from the lecturers at the Institute. In addition to this, you can access specific IT skills training via Edge Hill University to help support learning using on line activities
