Target Audience

The course is open to all qualified healthcare professionals who have completed a three day communication skills training course or who are actively involved in teaching communication skills to healthcare professionals.

Aims

• To educate healthcare professionals about the Advanced Communication Skills Training Model

• To equip healthcare professionals with the skills to train other healthcare professionals who are keen to teach communication skills

The Benefits -the workshop will enable participants to:

• Build their confidence and skills in training healthcare professionals to communicate effectively with seriously ill patients and their families
• Work with actors
• Use role play video and tape recording as part of a training course
