The first OPCARE9 Colloquium was held in The Queens Hotel, Chester, UK from 3 - 6th March 2008.

The programme included the following:

   ~ Presentations re, proposed methodologies:

          > Needs Assessment

          > Delphi

          > Systematic Review

   ~ Workshops - to debate, determine and define:

          > The 'last days of life'

          > The scope of each work package (to avoid overlap and duplication)

          > Personnel to be deployed within each work package

          > Process for adapting methodologies for use within each work package

   ~ Open Meeting

          > Professional and Public engagement
