The National LCP Heart Failure project started in 2005.

Project Outcomes

• 2 additional goals added to the generic document:
  - Management of Dyspnoea
  - Management of Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillators (ICD’s)
• Determined the need for supportive information
• Patient / Carer information – designed by Arrhythmia Alliance – ICD Patient Information (pdf)
